Example of closing the neurological gap!

Vertical Limit

A perfect example of closing the neurological gap… and selling Franchises!

I was sitting watching the movie Vertical Limit. For those of you who have never seen this movie, let me tell you about the beginning. The characters are climbing up an extraordinarily steep mountain. It’s a sunny day out, the character, as we come to find out, are a family. We, as the audience, are all feeling good, because the characters are singing songs from the 70’s like Take it to the Limit and MacArthur Park. At least people from my generation are relating to the songs, singing along with the characters of the movie. A reminder of good times and our own youth.

Suddenly, a series of unfortunate events occur, beginning with the lead climbers’ backpack falling down on the family of climbers behind him, and one by one, they lose grip. I won’t spoil the movie for you, but just know that I literally had to close my eyes, and for me, that wasn’t even enough. I busted into tears! Everything I held sacred and dear was triggered — family, security, togetherness. They had gotten me!  They had closed the neurological gap on me!

How powerful!  If this movie had been a commercial, I would have bought whatever they were selling!  Feed the puppies?  No problem, here’s a check for $10,000. Take a trip around the world? Awesome, let’s go… it’s about time I lived!

Think about it for a minute.  If we all were to harness this powerful tactic, we’d be selling to our potential customers like crazy!  So how do we use the same technique that this movie so effectively employed — moving me to tears and then into action?

It’s simpler than you think!  We have our clients remember a time that they felt good, successful, powerful, complete.  We take them back to that time in their heads.  Then we show them how purchasing our product or service – or in this case our franchise- will help them achieve those same great feelings!

This is “closing the neurological gap.”  It’s a simple process, once you understand it.  This is what we at Zoracle Profiles excel in. We train you to read the profiles of your clients in order to move them into action!
